UNCF Tech FairIn 2019, Yoots partnered with Genentech to provide extremely low cost transportation for the United Negro Fund's Tech Summit. Students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities flew to SFO from around the United States to participate in a deeply informative tour of some of the region's most important tech companies. Friends and connections were made, scholarships and internships were earned and fun was had by all!

Northern Light School Field Trip to Camp Arroyo
Yoots.org is very grateful for the opportunity to help make this trip to Camp Arroyo in Livermore a reality. With help from our partners at Quest Fund, we funded transportation for the 4th and 5th grade classes at Oakland's incredible Northern Light School! Thanks to Michael’s Transportation Service for safely moving almost 50 children.
Camp Arroyo is one of the premiere locations for outdoor education in the Bay Area- 138 acres of wilderness nestled in the rolling hills of the East Bay, made reality by the Taylor Family Foundation.
Outward Bound of California
We're thrilled to partner with the Henry Mayo Newhall Foundation to help increase Outward Bound's mission within the San Francisco city limits. Outward Bound has struggled with transportation related issues for years and many deserving youth have missed out on their world famous programming.
This grant will help hundreds of students from San Francisco's title one schools to join in the fun!
UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital FETCH Program
The Youth Transportation Organization has created a pilot program with UCSF’s Center for the Vulnerable Child called FETCH - Free and Easy Transportation for Children’s Health. We are working with multiple clinics within the Pediatric Care facility to lower the “no-show” rate. When we first began work with the clinic, the rate was a frighteningly high 35%. In the past year, we've learned that big portion of the no-shows are due to a lack of timely, affordable transportation. We've lowered that rate, delivering children to their doctor and dental appointments, and we've begun to create advanced techniques to further understand the myriad of difficulties for the patient population that keeps many from attending their appointments.
