UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland
Our Partnership
With help from a grant by the Sunlight Foundation, Yoots is embarking on a pilot program with the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Primary Care clinic to provide rides to children in order to help them get to their medical appointments. Currently the clinic suffers a 35% “no-show” rate! The goal of the pilot program is to prove the advantage of free rides in the lowering of the no-show rate, in turn improving the children’s health outcomes. Upon successful completion of the pilot, we intend to roll out the program throughout the hospital’s clinic.
Yoots goal: 10,000 round trip rides.
